The key activities for this position include:
- Represent the company research projects including publicly funded as well as commercially funded (large longitudinal studies, clinical trials, contract research and consulting).
- Perform bioinformatics analyses on sequencing data (-omics), help in developing novel analytic techniques to better address the scientific gaps with novel products and services.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for new collaborations and research funding.
- Support our team in transform research project outcomes into high impact scientific publications.

REQUIRED EXPERTISE
- Linux command line.
- Python
- R / Shiny
- Bioinformatics tools such as bwa, samtools etc.
- Transforming command line utilies in Linux so they can be launched and results presented in web based tools.
ADDITIONAL EXPERTISE
to be considered an advantage
- Experience in Bioinformatics tools.
- Experience in performing analytics with large JSON files.
- HTML5 Development
- Javascript
- Familiarity with versioning systems such as GIT
- Fluency in any language beyond Greek and English
