Stremble was established in 2011 by a leadership team with extensive experience in the domains of pharmaceutical research and genetics.
Collectively, the management team of Stremble have hundreds of high impact publications and have held leadership roles in both industry and academia, driven consortiums that managed over 200m euros in research funding, producing patented diagnostic and pharmaceutical products that have achieved regulatory approvals and are on the market.
The company has grown steadily and currently comprises of both full-time staff and part-time consultants who are engaged in a variety of public and private funded research actions.
Meet the team
Athos is a computer scientist with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and medical research field. He is the scientific manager of several National and EU-funded research projects.
Federica is a psychiatrist that heads the Neuroscience and Brain Research Group at Stremble with a wealth of experience in medical research in academic, pharmaceutical, and CRO environments.
Paris is an Associate Professor of Research Methods and Statistics at the European University of Cyprus. At Stremble he develops novel analytical approaches for clinical research and genetics.
Cameron is a geneticist with a doctorate in statistical genetics and industry experience in molecular biology and diagnostics. At Stremble, he focuses on developing our portfolio of novel research and Horizon 2020 proposals with our network of partners.

Gender Equality Plan (GEP)
Stremble’s principle is to have a fair, safe and pleasant environment for its employees. Stremble offers its employees equal professional and personal development opportunities, equal pay and flexible working arrangements, parental leave policies and support for caring responsibilities, team building activities and balanced representation of women and men in decision-making positions.

Stremble regularly monitors the working environment and takes action where necessary. Strembles departments all share responsibility for developing and promoting gender equality. The GEP is based on interviews and discussions with the company’s directors and employees. The company’s annual action plans set out specific strategies for achieving the targets set and the staff responsible for achieving them. The achievement of the set goals is addressed in the annual reports.
In order to achieve these objectives, Stremble has listed the objectives and underlying principles of the Equality Plan and the actions proposed and adopted to achieve them.
Environmental Policy (EP)
Stremble complies with all relevant environmental standards and legislation set by the Republic of Cyprus government. Stremble is committed to reducing the environmental impact of its operations through lowering power consumption and waste wherever possible.
Stremble will ensure that staff are aware of environmental matters and encourages participation in measures to operate in a more environmentally friendly manner. Stremble ensures the re-cycling of waste (paper, PMD, glass) and the re-cycling or proper disposal of obsolete computing and electronic equipment under the WEEE directive.
Stremble demands similar environmental commitments from its suppliers and contractors. The environmental policy is reviewed regularly by the company management to identify areas which can be improved and where new approaches can be taken.
