STREMBLE’S ROLE

Stremble is Work Package 2 leader where we are responsible for the omics analysis of clinical samples. Stremble will carry out all gene sequencing, transcriptomics and metagenomics for the multi-centre clinical study.

  • Work Package Leader
  • Gene sequencing
  • Metagenomics (gut microbiome)
  • Transcriptomics (miRNA)

ABOUT CARDIOCARE PROJECT

CARDIOCARE is creating a unique registry of elderly breast cancer patients through a multi-centre clinical trial to implement an interdisciplinary and patient-oriented eHealth approach for assessing the efficacy of behavioral and psychological interventions on cardiotoxicity, intrinsic capacity and QoL.

Retrospective and prospective data from clinical studies is being collected including clinical, imaging, -omics, biomarker, psychomarker, intrinsic capacity, wearable sensor, and eHealth application data and by employing machine learning approaches, CARDIOCARE will develop a novel cost-effective risk-stratification strategy and healthcare model based on new sets of quality key performance indicators and provide evidence-based best practices and care pathways to improve the management of the elderly multimorbid breast cancer patient at risk for cardiac toxicity.
